What is in a fire pit set?

Every set is built around a propane fire table. Bistro sets pair two swivel glider recliners with a matching table, in Keywest, Newport, Malibu II and Huntington. The Huntington four-recliner set puts four recliners around one table, and Huntington conversation sets pair a reclining loveseat (four seats) or sofa (five seats) with two swivel glider recliners. Everything in a set comes from the same collection, so the frame, weave and cushions match, and each seat is rated for up to 300 lbs. Every fire table is also sold on its own.

How do the fire tables work, and what do I need to buy?

The tables burn propane. The Keywest, Malibu II and Newport tables put out 50,000 BTU and the larger Huntington table 40,000 BTU. The propane tank is not included. The Huntington has an enclosed cabinet with a locking door that keeps the tank out of sight, and the wicker tables include a tabletop lid and glass beads (the Huntington includes a burner cover). Keywest, Malibu II and Newport tables arrive fully assembled, and the Huntington goes together in about 20 minutes.

How much space does a fire pit set need?

A bistro set is two recliners and a table, so it needs far less room than a conversation set; check the dimension diagrams on each listing. For the larger sets, plan on roughly 10 × 10 ft for a four-seat set and 10 × 12 ft for a five-seat set. Each recliner is 27.5"–32" wide and about 30" deep upright, and fully reclined it reaches about 67", so leave room around the table. The Huntington table is 39" square and 25.6" high. Seat the group back from the flame, follow the fire table's instructions for clearances, and leave about 3 feet of walkway behind the seating.

Wicker or aluminum: which suits my patio?

Aluminum is the Huntington: a refined, neutral look that suits modern architecture and poolside settings, with a square fire table and slatted aluminum top. Wicker suits traditional, layered outdoor rooms and comes with a round fire table: Keywest is light and relaxed, Newport is a versatile medium brown, and Malibu II is bold and substantial. Huntington sets are also offered in Sunbrella® Canvas, a solution-dyed acrylic that resists fading, UV damage, mildew and stains better than standard outdoor fabric, a good upgrade where the sun is strong.

Can a fire pit set stay outside all year?

It is built for it. The frames are rust-resistant aluminum (with handwoven all-weather wicker on the wicker collections), and the mechanism beneath the cushions is zinc-plated, e-coated steel. Each recliner and sofa also has a patent-pending cover built in that protects the cushions and deploys in seconds, and the fire table's lid or burner cover keeps the top clean when the fire is off. If heavy rain or severe weather is coming, bring the cushions indoors, and store them somewhere dry over winter. Rinse wicker with water and skip pressure washers.
