Are these bar height or counter height?

Bar height. The seat is 30" high (43" overall), which suits a bar or outdoor kitchen surface about 40–42" tall. For a standard 36" counter you would want a counter-height stool, with a seat around 24–26", which these are not. A comfortable gap between seat and surface is 10–12", so measure your surface first. With arms or armless, and how many will fit?

The armless stool is 19" wide and 23" deep, compact enough to tuck under a counter and fit more stools along a bar. The arm version is 23" wide and 23" deep, with supportive armrests that make it easier to sit down and stand up. Both have a 30" seat, swivel 360° and hold up to 300 lbs, and at 24–28 lbs they are easy to move. As a rule of thumb, allow about 2 feet of counter length per stool.

Will the seats survive the rain?

The cover is zip-off, machine-washable and designed to be replaceable. The powder-coated aluminum base wipes clean.

Which fabric suits my outdoor bar?

The frame is the same across the range, so pick the fabric first. Harbor Stripe is a navy-and-white nautical stripe for coastal and poolside bars. Shadow Lattice is a bold charcoal-and-ivory geometric for modern kitchens. Sand Weave, Mist Gray, Denim Blue and Autumn Brown are quieter colors and textures that pair with wood, stone or stainless steel.
